BTC pipeline

Also known as: Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline

BTC is a major crude oil pipeline that brings Caspian crude to the Mediterranean. The pipeline starts in Baku, Azerbaijan, passes through Tbilisi, Georgia, and terminates on the Southeastern coast of Turkey, in Ceyhan. From Ceyhan, crude is loaded onto tankers and moved to refineries around the Mediterranean and east to Asian refiners.
