Reformate

Also known as: platformate

Reformate is the primary output of the catalytic reformer.

The primary use of reformate is as a high-octane blend stock for making gasoline. Reformate's high octane comes from the high levels of aromatics that it contains.

Another use of reformate is as a source of aromatics for the petrochemicals industry.
