Naphthene

Also known as: Cycloparaffin

Naphthenes are hydrocarbons containing a saturated carbon ring (as opposed to aromatics, which have an unsaturated carbon ring).

Hydrocarbon streams with a high concentration of naphthenes are called naphthenic.
