FCC gasoline hydrotreater
The FCC gasoline hydrotreater is used to reduce the sulfur content in the FCC gasoline stream produced in the FCC and RCC units. The catalysts used in these types of hydrotreaters are designed to keep the loss of octane as small as possible, but it is still common to lose 1.5-2 octane points.
