DDGS

Also known as: Distiller's dried grains with solubles

DDGS is the solid byproduct of ethanol production from corn. It is nutrient-rich and used as a feed for livestock. The value that ethanol distillers get for DDGS is an important driver of their overall profitability and therefore the breakeven price at which they will produce ethanol.
